George Hotel Description

The hotel was built in the Victorian period around 1851 and is famous as the birthplace of Rugby League Football, the meeting that founded the organisation was held here in 1895 and the memorabilia recalling this can be found throughout the hotel as well as in the recently opened Rugby League Museum.
