The hotel d’Orsay*** is situated near the Musée d’Orsay, the Assemblée Nationale, the Dome des Invalides and the Solferino pedestrian bridge which is a link between the Seine’s right and left bank. It is a perfect location to visit the Musée d’Orsay’s famous impressionist collection or the Seine banks and the beautiful bridge Alexandre III.
Four figurative sculptures nested in the front of the 18th century building seem to guard the hotel’s entrance. This classical style, which also appears in the lobby of the hotel, offers a contrast with the breakfast room’s modernity. In the morning, enjoy a quiet moment under the glass roof where a contemporary diptych signed Jean-Pierre Bertrand is exposed.

Positive: Location is perfect you’re looking for proximity to museums, etc.
Negative: Bathrooms are a little small and set up poorly.
Positive: Convenient location for museums, metro, and train. Quiet, great AC, comfortable bed, nice to have cake, drinks in lobby. Friendly staff. Would book again!
Negative: We did not have the breakfast because cost high and many nearby bakeries. We had no problem but top floor had some stairs only. Everything nice

Negative: I didn't realize I booked a cozy room - it was a little tiny for me but I was alone, so it was fine.
Positive: Lovely lobby and garden area. Very nice breakfast area and breakfast. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They helped us with charging our devices, bringing us a multi-plug . As there was a heat wave, the room was warm even with AC so they brought us two fans. The staff was truly exceptional. We will return!
Negative: The bathtub was a bit deep and so hard to get into for us older guests. And a mat would be nice as it is slippery as well. I am sure that if we had asked, they would have brought one!

Positive: Hotel D'Orsay exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The junior suite was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Perfect for a mom and 2 teenage daughters. The location was ideal. The street was very quiet, yet there were all sorts of shops, restaurants, etc just a block or 2 away. Additionally, the location allowed us to walk to nearly everything we wanted to do.

Positive: Location was great. Appreciated that they had sister hotels in the city where you could get help with concierge, get water or umbrella or use the facilities. Staff was exceptional.

Positive: Breakfast! For us, a big, low-carb breakfast is necessary for a successful day of energetic touring, and we got just that at Hotel d'Orsay. Scrambled eggs and bacon, sliced meats, wonderful French cheeses, avocados, pickles, nuts, fresh fruits, cafe americain with warm milk brought to your lovely table by a friendly server--just great. Location! In the heart of the city but quiet at night. Convenient to every place we wanted to go. The bed! Comfortable and supportive. We slept wonderfully well all five nights.

Positive: Location on a quiet street near Museé Orsay. Breakfast area was open and welcoming. A small hotel, so efficient.
Negative: Worn carpets on stairs and hallways. I was there in April. Although my 6th floor room was a bit warm some nights, it might be quite warm in the summer. An AC fan was provided.

Negative: the room was lovely but just not large enough for us with 2 suitcases. this isn't the fault of the hotel but our issue with not going up a size. i didn't understand the difference between 11 and 14 cubic meters - and it would have been more comfortable. that said, the room was lovely and well appointed
Positive: The location is ideal! The staff welcomed us with a glass of champagne in the lobby, and graciously offered us coffee, tea, and a tea cake in the afternoon.
