The residence, opened in 2005 offers 107 furnished and fully equipped apartments for 1 to 6 people. Each one offers a warm and sophisticated living space, designed to promote guests comfort, wellbeing and relaxation. Facilities on offer at the residence include a lobby, lift access, a breakfast room, WLAN Internet access, a launderette and parking for those arriving by car.
Guests arriving by public transport should take tram line A, and get out at the stop Claude Bloch or bus numbers 8, 10 or 14 and get off at the stop Cifac. Those coming by car on the ring road towards Cherbourg should take exit 5 Chu. Turn right at the roundabout towards the Citis. At the traffic light, turn right again. The residence is a little farther on, on the left (same entry as the IAE).
The studios offer a kitchen area with a microwave, a baking tray, a fridge, crockery and a dishwasher. There is also a living/bedroom with twin beds which may be easily converted into a double bed, as well as a table, chairs, a desk, a TV and a telephone. Furthermore, a private bathroom with a shower, a WC and a hairdryer comes as standard and the apartments also offer Internet access and individually adjustable heating.

This residence enjoys a strategic location in the CITIS, the centre of activities in Caen, and yet is just a stone's throw from the ring road and the city centre. Guests will find a number of attractions in the immediate vicinity of the complex, including Le Musée de Normandie, Le Musée de la Poste, L'Eglise Saint-Pierre and the Mémorial de Caen, while Caen Chateau is just 2 km away. The nearest links to the public transport network are 100 m away and it is 500 m to the nearest shopping venues and a 15-minute drive to the beach at Ouistreham.
