Originally built in 1859 in the style of a French chateau, this hotel has a rich and uniquely colourful history. It is believed to have been used as the English Headquarters of the French Resistance during World War II, whilst it was more recently the setting for the popular St. Trinians films. This fully air-conditioned hotel has a total of 117 rooms and its amenities include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. 40 km to the nearest fair site (earls court / olympia)
Located just outside beautiful Windsor, this country hotel is also a mere 45 minutes away from London. It is a quiet haven set in 14 hectares of beautifully landscaped grounds with serene gardens gently winding down to the banks of the meandering River Thames. Guests are just a 5-minute drive from Windsor town centre and its restaurants, bars, popular nightspots, public transport connections and excellent shopping facilities. Attractions such as Windsor Castle, Legoland and Virginia Waters are just a short drive from the hotel and London Heathrow is the nearest airport, just 15 minutes (20 km) away.
From London/Heathrow, take the junction 6 exit from the M4. Follow the dual carriageway towards Windsor. Take the first left and then the exit on the roundabout and follow the A308 towards Maidenhead. Keep going past Windsor Racecourse and the hotel is approximately 4 km on the right-hand side of the road.
