The hotel is a delightful Edwardian country house nestling in the heart of 38 acres of exquisite grounds. Built in 1915, the Grade 2 listed hotel retains all the charm and warmth of a lavish family home, with elegant oak-panelled rooms, spacious terraces and acres of manicured lawns. The 30 comfortable en-suite bedrooms (a mixture of executive and standard rooms) all have individual charm and offer glorious views. A team of award winning chefs display flair and creativity, ensuring every meal is a memorable dining experience, while friendly and responsive staff guarantee the warmest of welcomes.
From the M56: follow to the very end ignoring all exit signs. At the roundabout at the end of the motorway take the 1st exit, signposted Chester, onto a short stretch of dual carriageway. At the next roundabout make a right turn onto the A540, signposted Hoylake, until the 1st set of traffic lights, remaining in the right-hand lane. Make a right turn, signposted Foxes Riding school, and Inglewood Conference Centre. The hotel is located on the left-hand side, 1.6 km down Badgers Rake Lane. From the M53: exit at Junction 5 of the M53 and follow the signs for North Wales and Queensferry, turning onto the A41 northbound. Fork right at the traffic lights by the garage onto the Welsh Road (A550). Follow this road to the right turn signposted Burton, Badgers Rake Lane.
Each of the comfortable en suite bedrooms has individual charm, and almost all offer glorious views of the beautiful grounds. All rooms are equipped with central heating, Internet access, a direct dial telephone and a trouser press or iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee making facilities, a a radio alarm clock and additional digital TV channels also feature. Each room has a king-size or double bed and a private bathroom with a shower, bath tub and hairdryer. All bedrooms are non-smoking and have individually adjustable air conditioning.
This hotel offers beautiful walks and views. It has a fishing lake and tennis courts are available at no extra cost. Horse riding at the adjacent stables can be arranged for a fee. Mollington Golf Course is just a five-minute drive from the hotel.
