By car from the A1 motorway take the exit Valdichiana; from the exit Casello the motorway will connect with the E45 Siena-Perugia. Continue toward Perugia and after 13 km take the 2nd exit for Cortona (Cortona San Lorenzo). Continue toward Cortona. The motorway will connect with the 71 which proceeds to Camucia where the diversion to Cortona can be found. Take the road toward Cortona and follow the signs for the hotel. Enter the gate to Via Guelfa which is closed to traffic, but open to hotel guests 24 hours a day.
The Baldelli Palace is an old mansion, a 15th century building restored with respect to its ancient architectural characteristics. It is considered by various guides and specialised press as a true concentration of Cortonese history, hence the Ministry of Art has declared the hotel a National Monument.
