Housed in a converted 18th Century mansion, Hotel Roemer is a trendy boutique hotel with a stylish and modern interior. How to arrive
Hotel Roemer Amsterdam is located a stone's throwaway from the Concertgebouw, Museumplein with the Rijks Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the P.C. Hooftstraat where you will find the most exclusive shops of Amsterdam. The famous Leidseplein with its bars, restaurants and clubs is in the immediate vicinity.
From the central station it is easy to take tram number 1, 2 or 5 to the 'Leidseplein' which cost approximately Euro 2.60 per person.

Taxi
You will find a taxi stand in front of the arrival hall. Costs: approximately Euro 37.50. You will be in Hotel Vondel within 20 minutes. You can also contact the hotel, they can arrange a business taxi for € 37.50 one way, this is a fixed price and the driver will pick you up in the arrival hall, this service has to be booked in advance!
Public transport
Take the train from Schiphol-Airport to Amsterdam Central Station. Costs: approximately Euro 3.60 per person (single fare), travel time is 20 minutes. When you are leaving Central Station you can take a taxi to Hotel Vondel. This costs approximately Euro 15.00. It is also possible to take tram number 1, 2 or 5 to the 'Leidseplein' which costs approximately € 2.60 per person. You can buy tickets at the conductor in the back of the tram. On the Leidseplein you see two big hotels, the 'Marriott Hotel' and the 'NH Amsterdam Centre Hotel' in between you'll find the Vondelstraat. In the Vondelstraat take the first road to the left and then directly the first street to the right. This is the Roemer Visscherstraat. After 30 meters you will find Hotel Roemer on the right.
