Hotel Ajax is a two-star hotel situated in the heart of Amsterdam, just between the most popular and visited places in the city center: The Rembrandtsquare, the Damsquare and Amsterdam's most famous shopping street, the Kalverstraat.
The view from within the hotel is one of the most beautiful ones in the city. From the hotel you can see the Amstel River, the historical Allard Pierson museum as well as the Spui square.
Especially the Rai Exposition can be reached very easily as tram number 4 stops in front of the hotel and takes you straight to the Exhibition center without any stops over.
Central Station is only on a short walking distance (9 minutes) and the hotel is surrounded by a lot of museums, the Anne Frank House, the Red Light district, Artis the Zoo, and of course many pubs, coffeeshops and discotheques.

How to arrive
By car
Drive to the Ring A10, direction 'Amsterdam'. Then follow 'Centrum' boards. After you get off the highway you ask for the 'Rembrandt Square', which is very close to the hotel. We're located at the Rokin street which connects Rembrandt Square to Dam Square.

By shuttle bus: The shuttle can be found near the main entrance of Schiphol Airport, with the name 'Connexxion Schiphol Hotel Shuttle' written on a blue van. The daily frequent shuttle takes the guests from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to directly to our hotel between 06.00 a.m. and 21.00 p.m. The coaches leave Amsterdam Schiphol Airport every 10 minutes from platform A7. You will never have to wait longer then 30 minutes.
Tickets are available at the Connexxion desk on Schiphol Plaza, the Tourist information, at our hotel and with the driver.

By train: The train departs every 15 minutes and the trip will take about twenty minutes.
Once you arrive at the Central Station, the trams 4,9,16, 24, 25 can be used for reaching the hotel. It will in fact take you only two stops/ 3 minutes before you arrive at the stop called 'Rokin', where you can step out. Crossing the street, Hotel Ajax will be right in front of you.
By taxi: We suggest that you agree on the price of the journey beforehand if you want to make sure you are not taken advantage of.
