How to arrive
By plane:
It is possible to reach the hotel from the Marco Polo Airport by public and private (water taxi) transport.
Public transport:
1- Alilaguna: motorboats connect the airport to St. Mark’s Square. Boats depart every 60 minutes, the average journey is 60 minutes (golden line: Airport – St. Mark / Royal Gardens).
2- ACTV: bus number 5 departs every 30 minutes to Venice (Piazzale Roma car terminal). Buses leave from the platforms right outside the airport terminal.
By car:
Leave the motorway and follow the Venezia – Piazzale Roma (car terminal) sign. You can leave your car at one of the parking facilities in Piazzale Roma. Take a water taxi or a vaporetto boat to the hotel. Take either line 82 or line 1 towards Lido, and get down in Vallareso (St. Mark). Boats to St. Mark’s Square depart every 10 minutes, the average journey is 40 minutes along the Grand Canal; boats depart every 20 minutes after 9 pm. The N (night) line is available after 12.
By train:
Take a train to Venice Santa Lucia. Water taxis and vaporetto boat landings can be found along the canal right out of the train station. vaporetto boats: line 82 (seasonal) or line 1 towards Lido, and get down in Vallareso (St. Mark). Boats depart to St. Mark’s Square every 10min, the average journey is 40 minutes along the Grand Canal; boats depart every 9 minutes after 9 pm. The N (night) line is available after 12.
Water taxis can be found at all the main gateways into the city and in all major tourist spots. Licensed taxis must have a yellow stripe displaying the license number horizontally across the cabin.
