The hotel is called after Venetian traveler Marco Polo. This is a small hotel built in 1904 by the well-known English architect William Wallcott. Nowadays the hotel combines the European service of the high standard and Russian hospitality with new stylish furniture, refined interiors, up-to-date fire-fighting equipment and reliable security system. The small lobby is quite quiet, dark and cosy. To the left of the entrance is the dark wooden reception area and to the right is a small seating area. This allows passage to a wide corridor to the bar and the fitness areas. This corridor has display cases for souvenirs.
