The buildings which house this modern hotel date back to the 18th century. A complete renovation took place in 2005 and now 107 comfortable rooms are on offer, spread over 4 and 5 floors in each building respectively. In the lobby there is a 24-hour reception where valuables can be kept, a cloakroom and a currency exchange facility. A café, a bar and the restaurant ""Los Alamos"" (Awarded an ""H"" seal by the tourism agency, guaranteeing hygiene and quality) ensure that guests' culinary needs are catered for. Guests can also make use of a terrace, lifts, a kiosk, shops, a theatre, a TV lounge, conference facilities, WLAN, room service, a laundry service and a car park.
Guests may select their breakfast and lunch from a buffet. Lunch and dinner may additionally be taken as a set menu or à la carte. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. It is possible to book a Bed & Breakfast, a half-board or a full-board stay.

The hotel is located just a few minutes from Morelia. Guests can get to know the culture and beauty of the Michoacán towns: Pátzcuaro, Zirahúen, Uruápan and many more. The hotel lies in the middle of the historic centre in the Avenida Madero, the town's main transport route. The cathedral, the Governor's palace, the Clavijero Palace, the Ocampo theatre, and the De Las Rosas conservatory and museum, which contains interesting facts about the town, originally called Valladolid, are only a few steps away.
