The restaurant is an extention of the building but built and decorated in harmony to the rest of the building ie. The medieval ceiling and pillars made of fine sandstone. The cuisine is traditonal and very well presented and served a wide choice of wines
Built in 1830, this hotel comprises a total of 31 rooms spread over 2 floors of which 2 are suites. The small hotel garden invites guests to enjoy some sunbathing. Facilities include a lobby with a reception desk, a safe, a bar and an à la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area. A TV room as well as conference facilities are also available. In addition, there are also room and laundry services to round off the facilities on offer.
The bedrooms are large and traditonally decorated and they have kept the original furnishings belonging originally to the nuns. the beds are Cast iron framed and there are hand painted furnitures.

100 kms to the nearest airport (lisbon portela airport)
This hotel occupies a former nunnery from the early 19th century outside the walls of Óbidos. Through its tasteful remodelling, the original character has been retained, although with all the features that a modern traveller would require. The town centre can be reached in a few minutes on foot and the airport is located around 75 km away.
From the A8 drive towards Óbidos. On arriving in Óbidos, drive towards the city centre. After the petrol station take a right and go down along the wall.
