The ASTORIA is a superb modern hotel, centrally, situated near the Congress Hall on Stresa's Lakeside promenade. The Hotel enjoys a splendid view of the Borromeo Gulf, its islands and the Alps. Balcony rooms overlook the magnificent lake scenery or the lovely secluded rear garden, with heated swimming pool and snack bar. The restaurant, lounge and bar are extremely pleasant, spacious and welcoming. All rooms are air-conditioned with bath or shower, hairdryer, minibar, satellite TV, radio and telephone. Suites with hidromassage bath are provided. Beautiful hotel on lake front, helpful staff and well kept hotel. A few minutes promenade from town centre for eating drinking and shopping.

Positive: Views of lake beautiful, pool area newly done and done well, pool really nice for swimming and paddling!

Negative: None!
