Ocean West is a 10-room boutique hotel and is Nassau's newest luxury hotel and vacation rental superbly situated seventy feet above sea level with breathtaking views of Lake Killarney to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the north We are an exclusive resort with remote access only for our guests This resort is located in the western district of New Providence and we are a 5 minute drive from Lynden Pindling International Airport Located just minutes away from the Cable Beach strip, which features casino gaming, fine dining and exciting nightlife, Ocean West Hotel was once a private residence and construction of this building began in 1989 and was completed in 1993 Renovations to the residence began in 2014 and completed in 2015 converting it into a boutique hotel The original architect was Henry Melich who's concept and design for this building were taken from Palladian architecture which was derived and inspired by designs of venetian architect Andrea Palladio, who was born in Italy in 1508 and died in 1580 Hence, the drawings are an evolution of Palladio's original concept
