Breakfast and dinner served in the restaurant is mainly New Zealand dishes. The restaurant benefits from having excellent views over the lake and mountains.
The hotel is spread out in a number of blocks of rooms all linked together by outside covered walkways. As it is only two storeys high there is no elevators.
A short drive from the centre of the resort and well suited to those who would prefer not to be in the busy central Queenstown area. Plenty of car parking so it suits the self-drive market very well. Friendly and helpful staff. SE0710
The rooms are simply decorated and in good condition. One of the features highlighted by the hotel is the very good views from many of the rooms. Most were renovated in 2003. The standard rooms have TV's and hair dryers. All rooms in the hotel are non smoking areas.

3 km to the nearest fair site (queenstown event centre)
Located on the Frankton Road approximately four kilometres from the Queenstown central shopping area. Also only a short drive from the Queenstown airport.
