Tracy Park Hotel & Country Club Description

The 2AA Rosette restaurant at the park is an original and fascinating space to enjoy the special fares on offer. With an imported wood stone oven to roast fabulous fish, meat and game, as well as trademark home-baked breads, signature crudités and traditional desserts, guests' dining experience will be an exceptional diversion from the typical 'fine dining' experience. The dining room is in fact an old stone lodge, once used for Masonic ceremonies, which has fascinating stone carvings that remain a feature to this day.

A chic, award-winning boutique hotel and golf resort, this historic house, built in 1808, features a beautiful parkland setting and informal dining facilities. There are also excellent conference facilities that can provide professional amenities for important meetings or events. Offering a total of 24 guest rooms, the hotel also has a lobby with a cloakroom and lift access, as well as an on-site café, bar and restaurant. For additional fees, guests may make use of the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services and the car park.

By car: from Bristol Airport, depart via North Side Road and take the A38 for approximately 4 miles. Keep on the A38 and take the 1st exit, Bridgwater Road, Bedminster Down Road, which is still the A38. Then continue onto Parson Street-Hartcliffe Way (A4174), which turns into Hengrove Way, Wootton Park and then Callington Road, but is still the A4174. Turn right onto Bath Road, Brislington Hill (A4). Stay on the A4174 to the A420 Deanery Road-Homeapple Hill (A420) and the High Street (A420). Take the 3rd exit, which is Bath Road.

The bedrooms were built using warm, honey-coloured Cotswold limestone and are mostly arranged around a charming, old courtyard, set behind the grandiose manor house. Every bedroom features its own individual finesse and wealth of character, having been redesigned in a stylish, contemporary fashion whilst maintaining country sensibility with supremely comfortable and traditional furnishings. It is this mix of olde worlde charm and modern comfort that truly creates a warming and relaxing setting. Some rooms have an en suite bathroom with a bath or shower. Guests are provided with a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio and Internet access in their rooms. They may also make use of the minibar and tea and coffee making facilities, while central heating ensures their comfort.

There are 2 wonderful golf courses located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which stretches for over 240 acres of historic parkland and includes trees that are over 400 years old. Both courses, the Crown and the Cromwell, have their own distinctive character and are recognised as two of the finest in the south west (fees apply). Guests may also go biking and take advantage of the entertainment programme provided for adults (fees apply to both).
