The touristic centre “Sierra Luz” is located in the beautiful town of Cortegana, in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche (Huelva) Natural Park. Its magnificent facilities are designed to help visitors enjoy rural tourism and nature. Its ease of access for people with reduced mobility makes it the first major centre of its type in Andalucia. It has a total of 51 places, offering enjoyment and relaxation as well as therapeutic activities, training and tourism.
Accommodation
12 Double Bedrooms
Situated upstairs in the main building. Spacious, comfortable rooms with heated floors and easy access bathrooms. These rooms have telephone, hair drier and television. All have views of the mountains.
3 Self Catering Cottages
Each with capacity for 8 people, the cottages are situated in the garden. The lounges have a fireplace and all rooms have air conditioning. The spacious kitchens are fully equipped.

Heated Swimming Pool
One of the delights of “Sierra Luz” is its covered, heated swimming pool. It is covered by a large glass dome which allows guest to enjoy the green countryside while taking a relaxing swim or practicing other water activities.
Rehabilitation Centre
The rehabilitation centre has the latest technology for physical treatments. It is specially designed to treat neurologic, traumatic, rheumatoid and cardio-respiratory functions.
Restaurant and Cafeteria
The Sierra de Aracena offers visitors superb food. In our restaurant “Sierra Luz”, we serve delicious local dishes made from traditional recipes.
The cafeteria is the ideal place to relax, have a chat and taste our superb tapas and irresistible homemade desserts.

Multi-purpose Rooms
The complex has 2 multi-purpose rooms available for business meetings, conferences, exhibitions and training.
“La Lieva” (The Stream) Conference Room has a capacity for 78 people and its layout can be changed as required, for any type of assembly, whereas “La Gruta” (The Cave) Work Room has a capacity for 53 people and as the name implies, it is more suited to hosting workshops.
With appropriate advance notice, we can supply all necessary audiovisual equipment in both rooms and coffee service as required.
Solarium
From the sun terrace you can enjoy views of “Sancho IV”, the historic Cortegana castle and the green fields which surround the centre. A perfect spot to leave stress behind and enjoy the delights of nature.
“Jardín de Los Sentidos” (Garden of the Senses)
Chestnut trees, oaks, poplars, strawberry trees, olives, indigenous, aromatic plants and a fountain all make up the Garden of the Senses, where the main building and the three cottages are located.
Surroundings
“Sierra Luz” is situated in the heart of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park. The park is a huge area of some 200,000 hectares. It is one of the most extensive, protected areas in the whole of Andalucia. The area has a rich mix of different landscapes and traditions. Culture, heritage, crafts, gastronomy, outdoor activities, conservation and the preservation of local traditions, all form part of this mixture.

The “Sierra Luz” Hotel is well situated for walking, cycling, caving, and horse riding… There is a wide choice of activities for the whole family. These activities compliment the water and health therapies offered by the hotel.
Spacieuses et confortables, les unités d'habitation disposent du chauffage au sol et donnent toutes sur les montagnes. Toutes sont équipées d'une salle de bain privée avec douche/baignoire et sèche-cheveux, d'un lit double, du téléphone, de la télévision, d'une kitchenette et d'un accès Internet. La climatisation et le chauffage complètent le confort standard.
L'un des joyaux de cet hôtel est sans conteste sa piscine couverte chauffée, équipée d'une rampe d'accès et d'un ascenseur permettant de descendre dans l'eau. Le centre de rééducation inclut les technologies les plus récentes en matière soins et d'entraînement kinési-thérapeutiques.
