Cecil Court Hotel

Positivo: Lovely little hotel. Breakfast was very good and the lady taking orders was lovely. Great location and very quiet. The room was very clean. Kenny is a gem nothing is too much trouble.

Negativo: The shower cubicle is tiny perfect for standing until u have to bend to get shampoo. The bed was a bit soft for me but that's a personal preference.

Positivo: Check-in went very smoothly. Room was very clean and at the rear of the hotel, so was cooler in the recent warm weather we've had. Breakfast was very good and set us up for the day.

Negativo: Nothing

Positivo: Clean hotel room was very clean tea and coffee was provided and housekeeping was attended daily. Great location

Negativo: The steep hill getting up to the hotel and city centre was quite hilly .

Positivo: The bar and breakfast room were alright and nice filling breakfast great value You could open the windows as it dies get warm There a fancy type mirror in the bathroom Friendly staff who did all the booking in and cooking

Negativo: Having to ask for the fob Key for ladies toilet wasn't a lift just quite a few flights of stairs on a few different levels and corridors didn't totally realized till after booking in plus booking.com recommended it as a alternative to a hotel we wasn't able to stay at this hotel is more like a B&B had to carrying my heavy luggage up nearly 3 lots of stair which was knackering not really suitable if your older or have disabilities The room was cozy not much room but was still able to move around it, did hear Abit of outside noise as the hotel is on a residential and other accommodations it did get quite warm in the room there's no air con which is stated on there advertisement but no fan to use They isn't any staff on site couldn't find where the extra milks ect were stored all the main areas were locked and had only a few milks in my room tray

Positivo: The breakfast was superb. The location was very central and suited our needs. The bonus of parking was great also. The staff are really nice, especially the chef. Good selection of tea and coffee, which was replenished...that never happens plus clean cups for hot drinks. Great storage for a family of three.

Negativo: The double bed mattress was way too soft and our sleep was impacted as a result. It would be nice to have hooks on the bathroom door as there is nowhere to store towels when wet.

Positivo: Lovely sized room and en suite, even though at the front of the hotel there was minimum noise. Bed comfortable, slept well. Breakfast was lovely, staff were friendly what more could you possibly want.

Positivo: Really lovely chap booked me in and let me keep my bag there as I was early Tasty breakfast I heard a lady asking for gluten free bread which they got for her Room had everything in I needed TV kettle towels tea coffee milk and sugar (a drinking chic would've been perfect) hair dryer iron I forgot my ear plugs and eye mask so was woken first morning by a group in next door rooms checking out early (no reflection on the hotel just happy shouty guests) but the 2nd night had a lovely sleep

Positivo: Location was great near restaurants and shops. Loved blue light on mirror inside toilet with just enough light to see at night 🌙. EXCELLENT!

Negativo: Being American, not used to the short time heat was on. But at our request, we had it a bit longer. THANK YOU! TOWELS could use replacement but ok.

Positivo: The rooms were so lovely and airy, the beds were so soft and bouncy! Everything was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the windows were huge. Nice location too, right outside where my friends and I were meant to be going. It was only £55 a night for a room with 1 double and 1 single bed, brilliant pricing.

Negativo: I was rather cold at night because I couldn't seem to find any heating that I could turn on or off unfortunately.

Positivo: Breakfast was excellent

Negativo: Having to pay £10 for parking my car in hotel car park just because I booked through Booking.com

Positivo: This place isn’t the Ritz obviously, but it’s very clean, decent sized room, helpful staff, easy check in and out. It’s an absolute bargain, I’ve stayed in much more expensive hotels in Bournemouth and they weren’t as nice. Definitely recommend, just not for your honeymoon!
