Positivo: I will start with saying that we were received very warmly from Eddie and the staff during our check in as well as during our stay. The hotel has very good sea view and a pool with sea view. Our room was cozy with a lovely view perhaps better than the sunset view from the famous Oia Village.
Negativo: That we could not stay longer however we plan to come back and refer our friends to come here.

Positivo: Amazing view and location. Right on the cliffs of Imerovigli with picture perfect views of the caldera. Great spot for sunset. Few minutes walk from restaurants. Stayed in a basic room, but everything was good, no complaints. The staff was very nice.
Negativo: The hotel is a little difficult to find, google maps location isn't 100% correct. Had to ask for directions from another hotel. There really isn't any signage at the entrance, there is a mention of "Afroessa" inside of the complex near the entrance but you have to really be looking for it.
Positivo: Incredible views perfect location and right for the price! We absolutely loved it, the pool is wonderful! Just gorgeous.

The views are breathtaking and the location is perfect. The area has good restaurants but is more peaceful yet next to busy Fira and close to Oia. I could not be happier!
Positivo: I had the most wonderful stay at Afroessa. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Santorini, making it the ideal place for a serene and relaxing getaway and to watch the marvellous sunset each night. The rooms, pool and facilities are all fantastic and the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. It is only a small hotel, but the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. I would highly recommend Afroessa to anyone heading to Santorini. This place has serious heart and soul and I feel so refreshed from my stay. Thank you!
Positivo: We highly recommend staying at Afroessa. The view of the caldera and sunsets are spectacular. Even better is the hotel manager, Eddie-a jack of all trades, who was so helpful and really made our stay quite enjoyable with a little chat or recommendation on activities, transportation, or dining. The entire staff was friendly and helpful as well. The rooms are modest, but cozy. The hotel is a great central location to both Fira and Oia. Also, recommend the catamaran day or evening tour. Volcano Yachting was phenomenal. Word to the wise, come prepared for lots of walking, climbing, and many, many stairs.
Negativo: The stairs were challenging at times and not appropriate for people with mobility issues.

Negativo: The whole place including the bed was cold and damp even when the heat pump was turned on. Water was leaking from the sink and the hot tub. You had to provide your own drinking water and coffee etc was not replaced daily. We had to ask for dry towels almost daily. We were given only one small piece of soap for our five day stay. It was very basic and I felt like I was camping. We paid $600.00 Canadian a night for this place and it definitely was not worth it! This view can be seen all over the island. Reviews I read when booking do not represent this place at all. Felt totally ripped off.
Positivo: amazing view of the calderia and oia. Sunset guarantee every night (except when cloudy obviously). Imerovigli is a great spot for great views and a sunset!! The hotel is also located on the walking path to Oia, took us 1h30-45 to get to Oia and about 20-25min to get to center Fira. There is a supermarket 5min away from the hotel. Eddie who is the manager there, makes sure you have transportation to & from the hotel, helped us book a buggy/quad for us. he also let do a late check out since our ferry left later in the day! He is Always available on his phone/whats app We also had a huge breakfast every day for 15-18 euro, worth every bit we would definitely come back here when coming back to santorini
Positivo: We loved the patio onto the caldera and the size of the room. Staff was nice and friendly!
Negativo: Our room led right onto the public path so more privacy would’ve been nice. But we noticed this was common for a lot of hotels in Santorini.
Positivo: the Wi-Fi connection was very poor.
