Positivo: Beautiful renovated rooms and common areas. Tasteful clash of historic building with modern architecture. Super friendly and attentive staff.
Positivo: The staff was friendly and the concept of a self-serve bar was excellent. The location was also quite good.
Negativo: It takes forever to get a good amount of coffee in the morning with thise miniscule Italian servings. I would have liked the breakfast area to be available even before breakfast so that I could sit at a table and get some workd done.

Negativo: The room faced the street and was extremely noisy. In addition, there was the permanent sound with annoying "elevator music" from the garden side - a pity. You have to walk a bit to reach the city center.
Positivo: Fantastic oasis on the road further south. It's near the old center of Udine, which is definitely worth a visit. The four person rooms are perfect for a family with two small kids.
Negativo: The signs asking guests not to splash in the pool are in line with the tranquil vibe, but are a bit of a challenge for the kids.
Positivo: Decent hotel with big rooms and a good shower.
Negativo: Rude staff, had to look for them both during check in and out. Booking states that check out is from 07:00 but staff refused to check us out before 8 so when we said we were leaving as we had a long drive to catch a flight they came around but were very rude.
Positivo: location was great for the purpose of attending an event at the Teatro Nuovo. staff was very nice and helpful. well stocked lobby bar, though we did not have an opportunity to utilize
Negativo: the door to closet and cabinet in room did not open fully. the room was very cold and no instruction for thermostat. the buffet breakfast was very small with automatic coffee machines that had different setting. cappuccino at one machine only 1/2 size as 2nd machine
Positivo: The staff was extremely friendly and professional. There is a free parking lot, which I found very handy. The breakfast features high quality products, and a comparatively wide selection for an Italian hotel.
Negativo: There is no lift. I didn't mind at all, but it might be important for other guests to know.
