Chardonnay Lodge is an award winning property by the IAHA as being the Independent hotel of the year in 2007 and also being recognized in the San Francisco Chronicle as most affordable and quaint and most recently winner of "Best of the Bay KRON 4 t.v" as best hotel 2009. The lodge has touches of Italy, with topiary trees, iron & stone benches, iron fixtures, signs for all themed rooms, Chardonnay Vineyard adjacent to our beautiful Rose Garden with grape lady statue and fountain.We have Queen size bedroom,King size bedrooms & Two double bedrooms..and opening in mid April Paris Room Jacuzzi suite.. each of our guestrooms are decorated with a theme in mind with hand painted murals of scenes of Italy and Napa Valley. All rooms have Flat screen t.vs, comfy robes, poems written according to theme.Guest are welcome to check out books on Napa Valley & information on wine from our mini book collection.

Positive: The room was good, bed was good.
Negative: Reception is very poor. Reception gave a terrible impression about the hotel. The bathroom a little poor.
Positive: The walls in bathroom were dirty the tub had permanent stains the TV was too small for $504 dollars it wasn't worth it
Positive: The bed was very comfortable
Negative: The property looked quaint and lovely in the advertised photos. In actuality, it was very blah and unimpressive.

Positive: Price was the best in the area. Facilities served their purpose. Front yard had a nice, inviting garden.
Negative: Rooms were a little dated and not as clean as I would have hoped.

Positive: The coffee was drinkable.
Negative: The keycard that did not work. The queen-sized bed touted on the website that was a double. The two 50 cent sized bars of soap. The robes touted on the website that did not exist. The snacks touted on the website that did not exist. The one hand towel. The tub that did not drain. The coffee maker that could only be plugged into an outlet on the wall adjacent to a 3” wide ledge beside the sink.
Positive: Location is excellent
Negative: The room designated “Paris” suffers from excessive street noise at night and need more effective curtains to keep out light at night.
Positive: location, age price for what you get a real dump

Negative: It was on a main street.
Positive: The price is the reason I stay there whenever I go back to Napa . It’s an old motel and they have revamped it with paint . Pretty flowers right now. It’s perfect if one just needs a place to sleep. And the location is convenient for me. Rooms are clean but can smell a little musty..No extras but Napa is way too expensive so I appreciate being able to stay here.
Negative: Some rooms can get noisy when lots of tourists stay there and come in late laughing and talking loud. Acoustic not great.
Positive: The room was in dire need of renovation. The floor was filthy. There was a lot of noise just outside the room. Someone was wheeling something late at night.
Positive: It was very conveniently located, the grounds were nice, the room was very comfortable, and the bed was excellent

Positive: Staff was not very friendly and accommodating, not hot water in the room, very loud room since it was facing the street

Negative: Their link to book the room said that we would have a patio and they show pictures of gardens and really nice surroundings well none of the rooms have patios and the garden is setting up beside the highway and it is not attached to any room it's basically false advertisement the way they're showing you the room on the booking link! It also said that there was only two rooms left for the times I was booking and when we got there there was nobody at this Motel is what it is it's not a lodge and when they when I signed in the rate was $119 their standard nightly right and I paid $200

Positive: Central napa without being a rip off.
Negative: Room smelled like fish. When I checked in , the lady who ran the place asked how I was going to pay. It was pre paid.
Positive: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Towels were fresh and shower worked good. It is a very convenient location and usually a decent price. Views are not great but we don't spend too much time in the room.
Negative: Smoke alarm in room 14 needs new batteries.
Positive: It was within walking distance of where I needed to be.
Negative: They need to provide more winter blankets, I got very cold at night. Also it smelled like fish when entering the room.

Negative: shower didn't drain so I was standing in 3" of water during shower hair dryer didn't work heater was difficult to figure put because control indicators were scratched out bet was hard and lumpy no blockout curtains so room was dimly lit all night staff unavailable on the night I stayed
Positive: I like where it's located parking is easy most reasonably priced
Negative: I stay there frequently. Usually they have bottled water in fridge none this time . Tv was difficult to turn on Remotes batteries low . No staff there to help . Nit many people staying there . Staff person was someone rude. Sheets barely stayed on bed
Positive: Comfy bed, clean, friendly owners and lovely little garden patio to sit and have a coffee.
Negative: Location on a busy road.
