Positive: We used to lived in Orgiva so it was great to be back. The hotel is great. Lots of restaurants in town were closed when we were there so we ate in the restaurant alot and bumped into lots of old friends.

Positive: The rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet for a good night's sleep. The hotel restaurant is excellent -- freshly prepared food with lots of variety in the menu of traditional Spanish and regional dishes, including great seafood. Very nice stay.

Positive: Front desk staff were helpful but not always on hand. It is a small hotel with indivdual touches to rooms. Cleanliness very grood.
Negative: Terrace always full of smokers as smoking is not allowed indoors in Spain, which made the outdoods terrace of hotel full of smoke, hard to breathe. Faces highway leading into town a lot of traffic, hard to park, and a lot of motorcycles. Resturant very crowded with locals and guests in the mornings, a hub with the bar in resturant, so a bit noisy and loud. Some waiters were used to travellers and semi friendly others were not, a bit stiff.. They tried their best. A lot of stairs in entrance and no one to help with luggage.

Negative: they are terribly understaffed. no one was at the reception when i tried to check in, I was having lunch at restaurant and ran when I saw someone at the check in , he gave me the key and told me he couldn’t wait to get off work. the morning after when I was looking for breakfast no one was at reception either, no signs for breakfast. I walked into the cafeteria and there were no menus. managed to order coffee and toast and they looked like they were doing me a favor getting them for me. do yourself a favor and skip it
