This small contemporary-style hotel is housed in a charming 19th century’s building, in the historic center of Zarautz. It lies just off the beach of this pretty Basque resort.
Opened in 2008, the Olatu Hotel provides a chic modern setting for your stay on the beautiful Basque coastline. It was completely refurbished featuring stylish, minimalist décor and interesting design touches.
Within 150 meters from the hotel there are the town’s main square, Plaza de la Música; the beach and numerous traditional `pintxos´ bars. It is also at a short distance from the marvellous seaside city of San Sebastián.
NOTE: Reservations with arrival date between Monday and Thursday must check-in at the pension Txiki Polit, located 50 meters from the hotel Olatu, in the Plaza de la Música.

How to arrive
-Zarautz is at 40km from the French border (25 minutes by motorway), 16km from San Sebastian (15 min.) and at 75km from Bilbao (1 hour).
- There is bus and train service to San Sebastian, with frequencies of less than 1 hour. Public transport is also available daily to Bilbao and Azpeitia/ Azkoitia.
- Drive time is, approximately, 50 minutes to the Bilbao Airport and 25 minutes to San Sebastian’s (Hondarribia) Airport.
