The Dhonveli restaurant, the main dining room with a traditional sand floor, serves buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner; alternating with a set menu dinner one evening each week, a variety to please everyone's taste! In addition, options include room service for breakfast, a daytime snack menu and special beach dinners. The Madivaru restaurant, on the beach, offers a menu of fresh, grilled seafood, prime beef and Asian specialties. The Thundi bar and al fresco deck overlooking the lagoon serves guests their favourite beverage and snacks.
The resort, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of Veligandu, in North Ari Atoll. Transfers are by seaplane, a scenic 20-minute ride from/to Malé International Airport. The resort features 74 rooms, including 54 Jacuzzi Water villas, 10 Water villas and 10 Jacuzzi Beach villas.
Each room features tropical décor, a king-size bed, wood floors, a private patio or sundeck with furniture, individually regulated air conditioning, an overhead ceiling fan and a seating area with a DVD player. In addition, a broadband Internet connection, a stocked minibar with refrigerator, a tea/coffee/espresso machine, international direct dial telephone, cable TV and personal safe come as standard. The spacious en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, double sinks, bath accessories and a hairdryer. An ironing set is also available in every room and guests are provided with a nightly turndown service.
