The hotel is situated in the centre of Britain's widest high street. Marlborough lies in the valley of the River Kennet, between the Marlborough Downs and Savernake Forest. Described by Pepys as a 'pretty fair town for a street or two', it retains its unique beauty and is an ideal touring centre. Bournemouth is some 87 km away, Southampton is 88 km away, Bristol Airport is 99 km away and London Gatwick Airport is approximately 160 km from the hotel.
By car: the hotel is situated on the A4 in the centre of Marlborough High Street. From the M4 turn off at Junction 15 and follow the signs for Marlborough. On the approach to Marlborough guests will see Marlborough Golf Club on the right-hand side.
