This charming hotel is set within three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Barnstaple is the ancient capital of North Devon, with a heritage centre housed in a 14th century chapel. Further afield is the spectacular North Devon coast and Exmoor National Park, creating an abundance of attractions to see and things to do during a visit. Barnstaple train and bus stations are 2.5 km and 3.2 km away, respectively. By car: from the M5 north and south take J27 (A361) towards Barnstaple. On the approach to Barnstaple at the roundabout for A39 Bideford, take the first left towards Bideford for approximately 1 mile, and go straight across the next roundabout towards Bideford for 1 mile. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit marked Roundswell. Go straight across the next 2 roundabouts and continue uphill. The hotel is directly in front of the next roundabout.
