Retreat to paradise in our self-contained, air-conditioned studio apartments. Why settle for a queen bed when you can pamper yourself in one of our King beds. Twin beds are also available. Port Douglas Retreat features traditional North Queensland architecture with the extensive use of timber in the entry, walkways and pool surrounds. Built on only two levels the building blends in with the tropical gardens that attract many native birds. Facilities include a large freeform saltwater pool (heated winter) and spacious outdoor entertainment area with gazebo and barbecues surrounded nightly by romantic mood setting gas flames. Perfect for couples or single travellers.
Features of the apartments include air conditioning and ceiling fans, kitchenette and private balcony or patio with outdoor dining setting and guests can enjoy 24 hour Free In House Movies. The property also has a guest laundry, disabled facilities, free tour and information desk and free limited undercover security parking.
Port Douglas Retreat is centrally located on Mowbray Street, being an easy three minute stroll to the village of Port Douglas, which hosts an array of shops, cafes and restaurants, the northern end of Four Mile Beach and Marina Mirage shopping and boating facilities.

There is no restaurant onsite, however guests can utilise basic cooking facilities in their room, or the BBQ facilities located by the swimming pool. Alternatively there a range of dining options close by in the heart of Port Douglas village.

The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Iron, clothes dryer, washing machine, refrigerator and microwave are provided for the convenience of the guests. Rooms also offer king sized bed. And the cable TV, Directly dial telephone are available for guests in the rooms.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool. A dip in the heated pool during winter can give you a soothing relaxation. Barbecues and Gazebo are also provided by the hotel.
