Grosvenor & Spa Hotel Description

There are two superb restaurants: The Arkle - which has been awarded again a Michelin Star for the 18th consecutive year - is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, serving contemporary dining in an atmosphere of supreme elegance. It also features one of the most extensive wine cellars in England. The adjoining Library and Archive are ideal for pre-dinner drinks, morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea. La Brasserie - an informal Parisian style restaurant - is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

The hotel was originally opened in 1865 and is now a Grade 2 listed building of historic and architectural interest. The exterior is an immensely distinctive black and white timbered facade. This very much belies the modern elegance of the hotel interior.

This is without doubt the most elegant and unique city centre hotel in Chester and one of the finest hotels in the North West. The Grosvenor Spa is at the heart of it all and there are 5 luxury treatment rooms, relaxation area, steam room, herb sauna, ice fountain, foot spa, themed shower, salt grotto, a make up and manicure station and a fitness centre for residents. (GW 05/2008)

Individually designed and furnished with a King-size bed (6ft 6in wide). Each Deluxe room contains armchairs or a two seater sofa creating a comfortable seating for relaxation with a desk and chair.
