Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel

The hotel has a subtle sailing theme with a large canvas sail at the top of the hotel's atrium. This is one of the best hotel's in Cape Town and has arguably the best location with unparralelled views of the sea and Table Mountain. The hotel offers all guests free high speed internet usage and has an excellent spa offering a variety of treatments. There is also an outdoor pool with lots of sunloungers and sunbathing space in the front garden area. Drinks and food can be ordered by the pool. AHJ11/10

Situated on the ground floor the restaurant has a very good repuatation and is popular with both hotel guests and locals. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner either in the main building or out on the stunning terrace overlooking the sea. The restaurant is famous for its lunch buffet and has a fantastic wine menu. The hotel also has an excellent bar which is busy year round.

A stylish modern building painted white and just three storeys tall. Similar in style to many of the luxury apartments which are to be found in the Capetown waterfront.

From Cape Town International Airport, take Eastern Boulevard (N2) towards Cape Town. Take the Eastern Boulevard which leads to Waterfront and Sea Point. At the second set of traffic lights, turn right onto Western Boulevard (M6 Sea Point). At the first off-ramp, turn right onto Portswood Road and then take the first left onto Beach Road. The hotel is approximately 1 km down Beach Road, on the right-hand side, opposite the golf course. The entire journey takes approximately 20 minutes.

All the rooms are large and stylishly decorated with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have large windows making the whole space bright and colourful. The beds are big and comfortable and there is a minibar, safe, writing desk and chair as well as sofa chairs, satelite TV and pay per view movies available in every room. All rooms look out on to the ocean and have 24 hour room service.

This hotel features both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, and there is a poolside snack bar on hand to provide a range of convenient refreshments. Guests can relax on the sun loungers, or in the hot tub or sauna. There is a gym for those wishing to stay in shape, and massages and spa treatments are also available. Guests wishing to play a round of golf will find a golf course within around 50 metres of the hotel.
