Salford Hall Hotel Description

The whole hotel and in particular the restaurant is full of character. This restaurant was originally a chapel for the nuns that lived at Salford Hall during the 19th Century, is full of tradition. Oak walls, a large fireplace and original mullioned windows create a warm and welcoming room. The restaurant has an excellent reputation locally and is very popular with locals and tourists alike.

This charming hotel is set in a magnificent Tudor manor in the heart of Shakespeare country. Dating back to 1417, the hotel comprises a total of 34 guest rooms, all finely furnished and endowed with all the indispensable amenities to ensure guests a comfortable stay. Fully air-conditioned, the hotel welcomes its guests into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service and includes Internet access, room and laundry services and a car park. The lovingly restored, rosette-award-winning on-site restaurant serves fine British cuisine, while still retaining the old oak panelling and log fires. The bar is open 24 hours for residents. Conference facilities are also provided for business meets and are equipped with necessary services to make meetings a success.

From London: Leave the M40 at junction 15 (Warwick) onto the A46 to Stratford. Continue on the A46 towards Evesham. Take the roundabout exit to Salford Priors, Abbots Salford and Harvington. The hotel will be on the left after about 2.4 km. From Bristol and the South-West: Leave the M5 at junction 9 (Tewkesbury) and follow the A46 round Evesham and towards Stratford. Continue on the A46 towards Stratford and follow above instructions from here.

Each of the guest rooms, 8 of which come with four-poster beds, have been named after historical personages connected with the hall and its past. The rooms have been individually decorated with period furniture and luxurious fittings and each room comes with all the facilities needed to make each guest's stay a pleasure. The bedrooms are situated in two separate buildings and are all en suite with bathtub/shower and hairdryer. In-room amenities include direct dial telephone, television, Internet access, minibar/mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and an ironing set. Central heating and air conditioning also feature.

The extensive recreational facilities include a sauna, solarium and tennis court. The tennis court is free of charge for guests.
