The hotel, in addition to high-standard accommodation services, offers meeting facilities. The Kauri Room is one of Wellington's largest and most flexible multi-use conference rooms. It can be divided into four meeting rooms each accommodating 40-90 depending on the configuration. The Kauri Room features European-designed soundproof doors, no intrusive pillars and floor-to-ceiling windows, thus creating a spacious environment with natural lighting. Visitors are welcomed in the hotel lobby and for a fee can make use of the laundry service provided.
Coming from the airport one should go through Mt Victoria Tunnel and turn right at the second set of lights onto Evans Bay Parade, where St Patrick College can be found on corner. Kemp Street is the first street on the left and the hotel is located at number 16.
The standard rooms are on all the first floor and there are no lifts. Older clients may prefer to use superior room type. Bedding configuration available in standard is twins, doubles, triple and quad means this hotel is ideal for families, friends travelling together, conferences and sports groups. The rooms are all a generous size. All rooms have been renovated since 2003. Rooms facilties include cable tv, mini bar, tea andcoffee facilties.
