This hotel is located on Hayarkon Street, in one of Tel-Aviv's most exclusive areas, 1 minute from the sea, marina, bars, clubs, cinemas, shopping centres and ethnic restaurants. It lies a 5-minute walk from the city centre and from Mazizim Beach. Also, Tel-Aviv's domestic airport (Sde-Dov) is about 5 minutes' drive away with regular flights between Tel-Aviv and the city of Eilat.

Positive: This is a cute vintage hotel. It had lots of historical charm which I really liked. I was worried because the lobby wasn’t air conditioned and some of the hotel looked a little worn, but my room had air conditioning and was very clean. I especially appreciated that the staff was so nice and let me do an early check in. There was also a really nice covered patio I worked from for a few hours. It had lots of outlets, and cute kitties came to hang out with me. For the value you can probably get something more modern for a similar price, but this place was very quiet and I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.
Positive: The employee welcoming us was very polite and willing to help. Bed was ok.
Negative: The hotel room was pretty dirty, with mold in certain areas. We turned on the (old) AC and after some time the room smelled bad. We realized the AC seemed to be FULL of black mold, which we didn’t want to inhale all night, so we had to turn it off. It was pretty warm in the room. When confronting the manager(?), he told us the AC has been cleaned two weeks ago which obviously wasn‘t true. The thing looked like it hadn‘t been cleaned since its installment 40 years ago. The windows were thin like paper, we could hear the traffic of a main road all night long. It was hard to sleep. Also, many things need fixing.
Positive: It’s near the beach and nice places to eat in the area.
Negative: Far from the train and difficult to access. Facilities are in disrepair and very poor value for what I paid which was way too much. Towels are threadbare, furniture seems 50 years old and the metal on the sink is degrading and has green and pink stuff growing on it. Evening unable to communicate enough to tell me what hours the front desk is manned.

Positive: I stayed in the hotel for one night and couldn’t ask for more hospitality and comfort.The bed,the shower,the cold water at reception and fresh coffee with a delicious pastry made my mini vacation such a pleasure. Positive: Thank you - Armon Yam is a conveniently located, basic hotel that is very well managed and was recently renovated. I enjoy spending time in the room, in the lobby and well - I also enjoy spending time out, and this time it was very easy for me to go to the beach in the morning and enjoy my morning swim!
Negative: This time I had a great time, so there was nothing really that I disliked.
Positive: Location! So close to the Namal/Tel Aviv Port. Also just a 1 min walk to Netzitzim Beach.
Negative: No easy place to pull up with your car to drop off your stuff, but I figured it out.
Positive: Staff was great. Room was clean. It was nice to have some provided for breakfast in the morning.
Negative: The bed was not so comfortable.
