TheArtemis Palace hotel is located in Rethymnon, a delightful town in central Crete, just a short walk from the picturesque Old Town and only a few minutes from the long sandy beach. The property is an excellent base to explore the history and nature of the island or to relax and enjoy the bright blue Aegean sea, the mild climate and vivid nightlife. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by a warm atmosphere enriched by the antiques which tastefully enhance the public areas. During your stay, the experienced staff will provide everything you need, and you will rest in comfortable rooms, dine at fine on-site restaurants, lay out by the poolside or unwind in one of the hotel's cosy lounges. An array of on-site services and amenities, which include TV room, table tennis, billiards, entertainment activities, live music, indoor & outdoor pool, fitness room, sauna, snack bar, conference and banqueting facilities, as well as gift shops, will make your vacation a truly memorable one.
The Daphne and Chloe restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine. In addition, the snack bar and pool bar are also open throughout the day offering various drinks and snacks. The main piano bar opens later in the night with live or dance music and doubles as a disco for the guests entertainment.
The complex consists of 2 huge condominiums, 5 storeys high each, painted predominantly white with terra-cotta roofs and ample, deep balconies. They are arranged in an open square shape with a pool and garden adorning the in between area. A private underpass enables the connection of the 2 buildings without the guests having to cross the street.
Most of the rooms are equipped with one double or one single bed. Each room has an en suite bathroom with bathtub/shower and hairdryer. There is also a fridge, TV with music channel, direct dial telephone, safe deposit box, air conditioning and heating provided.
The hotel offers a variety of daily activities, allowing clients to exercise. Guests can begin their day in the gym and sauna or with a revitalizing massage from an experienced masseur (on request), then continue by taking a swim in the indoor (annex building) or outdoor swimming pool (main building) or simply by enjoying a fresh juice from one of the poolside snack bars while relaxing in the hot tub or on a sun lounger under a parasol. There is also a children's swimming area. Furthermore, guests may play table tennis, pool/snooker or bocce at the hotel and hire sun loungers and parasols on the sandy beach.

5 minute walk to the nearest metro station
The hotel is at the edge of the town center, near the suburban streets that eventually lead to the old National road to Heraklion. The city center and Old town is just a few blocks away, a short 10 minute walk distance. The seafront where the long, sandy municipal beach starts is even closer down the road.
