Very modern, cosy and stylish, Hotel 55 is just west of London and has good access to Central London (15 minutes) and Heathrow Airport via North Ealing Tube station.
Most of the rooms facing the street are larger than the other rooms. These rooms have acoustic glazing to block most of the sound from traffic however, if you are a very light sleeper, we recommend that you book a special view room, which is overlooking the garden.
Under this category, you may be allocated one the ground-floor rooms next to reception which have disabled-access shower rooms. These rooms are the last to be allocated.

How to arrive
Hotel 55 is convenient for visits to Ealing, and Kew Gardens is only 20 minutes away. The M4 motorway is a few kilometres away, and the M25 is within 25 minutes drive.

Positive: Excellent location , the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We got guidance on our travel inquiries and made it easy for us to find our way.
Positive: Was a last minute booking but turned out to be a good choice as it is a fairly nice hotel in a good location with easy access to the bus and tube. Check in was easy and the staff was really warm, friendly and accommodating(especially Syed and blond lady whose name I regret not getting).
Negative: The hotel does not have a lift, so we had to settle for a room on the ground floor as we had heavy luggage.
Positive: The staff was kind and attentive. They made my stay very welcoming. The room was comfortable and good for 2 nights. Syed was kind enough to help us keep the luggage at reception after checkout and was kind overall along with the other staff.
Negative: The WiFi was very unstable.
Positive: That it was cheap
Negative: The cleaning staff, was very loud in the morning. I wanted too stay in and rest, but I had no choice but too get up and start my day, because they were very loud in the hallways
Positive: Great location for the price, tube station and bus stops are literally a minute away. Staff were available 24/7 and very friendly on every request/question.
Negative: The room was very small. The bed was very noisy. Bathroom tiles were broken in a couple places, heating wasn't working but they provided a plug-in heater which did the job to be honest.

Negative: I don’t believe the bar is in operation. Would have liked to have drinks at the bar. Maybe at the time of the holiday no t open. No shopping nearby that I saw this is in a neighborhood

Positive: Staff available 24h/7, additional requests were no problem at all.
Negative: The noise, the walls are thin, the doors are loud, opening closing. The windows and the doors had a huge gap, so there was a draft and the room was chilly most of the time. They did however give us a fan heater that did help, but ot wuickly turned the room into a sauna.
Positive: Fantastic service - went out of their way to check us in early as we had an event to attend. Room super comfortable and clean! Second time staying here and we will definitely return again.

Negative: They said they had to take a deposit of £100 in case of damages that would be immediately refunded in the morning,I was too tired to argue as I had been turned away from another booking.com property because they said they had no hot water and this was 2 hours later. The money has still not come back and the guys was trying make out the numbers on the receipt they g as ve me were wrong or not legible can you please get them to return the money they have stolen !!!!!!!!!!’nn
Positive: good location, free parking, decent sized bathroom and good shower. I'd say it's a good standard room in London at a competitive price.
Negative: the bed mattress wasn't very comfortable and the bathroom products were really cheap. there were marks on the wall that were poorly covered with paint.

Negative: Very limited parking and surrounding area you either can’t park or different separate hours of the day you couldn’t keep your car there unless you had a permit
