Set in 30 acres of parkland, and incorporating historic buildings and river frontage, the Oxford Thames comprises two medieval barns and a manor house, with extensions added to create integral courtyards. This is all in keeping with the age of the original buildings. It is situated 4 miles from Oxford City centre. The River Room Restaurant has picturesque views of the Thames and St. John's Barge to compliment the restaurant's fine wines and a la carte menu. Sunday carvery is spiced up with some jazz.
The Crusaders Lounge menu is available in the hotel lounge, while the River Room restaurant offers classic and contemporary cuisine.
All bedrooms, furnished and decorated to reflect the historic character of each property, are en suite and include TV, radio, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board and Internet access (fees apply). Each room also features a double bed, central heating, a safe and a balcony or terrace.
Jerome's Leisure Club offers an extensive choice of facilities in luxurious surroundings (fees apply). Facilities include the Roman-style indoor swimming pool, an invigorating spa bath, sauna, steam room and two air-conditioned gyms with state-of-the-art equipment.
