From East Midlands Airport: Turn left off of Viscount Road onto Ambassador Road. At the 3rd roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A453. Turn right after 322 metres. Leave the next roundabout at the 1st exit onto Hill Top. Go straight on down High Street into Castle Donington. From the M1: Exit the M1 at junction 25 in the direction of the A52. Take the 2nd exit from the roundabout onto Bostocks Lane. Turn right onto Longmoor Road. Enter the roundabout, and leave at the 4th exit onto Tamworth Road, then take the 3r exit from the next roundabout. Take the 1st exit of the next roundabout, and then exit the next roundabout at the 1st exit onto Station Road. Head straight on to Bondgate, heading straight down High Street into Castle Donington.

This beautifully appointed manor house was constructed in 1794 as a coaching inn on the main route from Nottingham to Ashby. It was originally named the Rawdon Hotel and was conceived and built by the Marquis of Hastings.
