Positive: Room was clean and location was excellent.
Negative: Staff were rarely at the front desk.
Positive: Location was the only positive
Negative: The room stank of smoke as did the bathroom. Stains all over the ceiling. The hotel itself was also smelly. The towels were poor quality and tiny. The bedding didn’t fit the bed. All in all the room was awful. Wouldn’t stay again.
Positive: Excellent staff room first class
Negative: Nothing all excellent
Positive: Spotless, warm, friendly staff. Central location.
Negative: Could do with new pillows. Just my opinion.
Positive: Location , shower , microwave
Negative: Bed
Positive: Central location, all the staff were very friendly, from receptionists to house keeping.
Negative: Nothing to dislike
Positive: Location was great. Room was large and comfortable.
Negative: My friend and I are elderly and we had to walk up steep stairs with our luggage and it was quite a walk.
Positive: Central. Quite clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
Negative: Musty smell. Shower took a long time to warm up. Strange selection of television channels - no BBC1!
Positive: It’s a good location, in the heart of of the city.
Negative: I didn’t like the £250 deposit they had to hold it’s very misleading because they don’t state this until after you’ve booked the apartment.. even after you book it they say they’ll let you know when they have cleared the room and you can have your money back but this hasn’t happened for me even though I stayed there two nights ago.
Positive: A good location within walking distance of Gloucester Docks, and the main shopping district. A good base for day trips and catching the train to other cities.
Negative: The room was very basic, with the minimum of facilities. Value for money if you prefer to spend more time away from the room than in it.
Positive: Fairly large room, clean and no stairs to climb. Location is good, near parking & cathedral.
Negative: Outside street is a bit run down. Some homeless people hanging around others seem to have mental issues. They don't seem a threat and there are police around at times.
Positive: Location was great, and it was easy to find
Negative: Room felt very 'student' and basic with not enough thought to the layout - you could only see the TV sat on the end of the bed unless you sat on the upright chair. The bathroom looked clean but had a faint smell of male urine which I found very off putting. Everywhere seemed a bit shabby. It took an age for the shower to become hot and there was only a rainfall shower - a pain if you don't want your hair to get wet. The bath mat had seen better days. The bedside lamp had to be turned on and off at the wall and the bedside table was very low.
Positive: The location is great, right in the middle of the city, close to the shopping center, docks and many other attractions, very clean rooms and very friendly staff who did their best to resolve my complaint (see below)
Negative: I do not recommend room no. 9, the window overlooks a wall 1.5 m away below the windowsill there is the roof of another building covered with pigeon droppings, cigarette butts and other filth, generally gross, strange solutions in the shower, no shower, only a rain shower instead, which wouldn't be a problem if the hotel provided a shower cap
Positive: Great hotel, friendly staff in a good location. Spotlessly clean
Negative: Bed was a little hard and we could hear clearly the people downstairs
Positive: Location.
Negative: Room was too warm if you opened windows too much noise.
