How to arrive
This hotel enjoys a prominent location next to the castle, in the heart of Newcastle. It is also placed within walking distance of the shopping, financial and leisure areas, as well as cultural venues of the city. It lies 5 minutes' walk from the train station, and offers direct access to The Quayside. It is a 10-minute walk to St. James Park, The Arena and Eldon Square. The hotel is 20 minutes from Newcastle International Airport.
Guests coming from the North on the A1 should turn off for the City Centre A695. Follow signs for the City Centre A695 along Scotswood Road into the city centre one-way system. Turn right onto Westgate Road and bear left onto Collingwood Street. At the traffic lights, filter right, past the cathedral on the left. Immediately after the Castle Keep (before the high-level bridge) turn left into Castle Garth, the hotel lies straight in front. Those coming from the West on the A69 should proceed along the A69 until reaching the 1st major roundabout. Turn right onto the Al following signposts to the City Centre A695. Remain in the filter lane and leave the A1 immediately, signposted A695. Follow instructions as from the North above.
