How to arrive

Overlooking the Savannah River, this hotel is located between historic Factor?s Walk and River Street, in the beginning of Savannah¿s Landmark district. It is an easy stroll to all Historic District attractions, museums, antiques shops, souvenir shops, river cruises and restaurants.
Positive: The character and charm
Positive: The location is amazing. Being able to walk to everything on River Street was so nice. The atmosphere in the hotel was phenomenal. We loved the feeling of staying in a historical building, but with all the modern comforts.
Negative: Parking and access to the building was confusing. I did not like that the only two options were offsite paid public parking, or valet parking for $50 per day. Parking offsite required finding and paying for an allowable spot either in a public deck or streetside and walking an unknown distance.
Positive: The Inn was very clean, in the perfect location (right on the river so we could watch the big cargo ships come in and out). It was within walking distance of lots of shops and great restaurants (The Fiddler and The Broken Keel are amazing). The staff was very friendly. Can’t think of one thing negative about our stay.

Positive: Room 531. It was amazing! Super clean. The atrium absolutly gorgeous!!! We had no idea when we booked they do a free bar between 4 and 5:30. the bartender Brad was amazing and gave us a wide variety of drink options. this is in a great location and we only had to get the car out one day we were there to go to the beach other then that its in the middle of everything. Also Valet was on point with everything very friendly, super helpful and gave us good recommendations of places to go when we were there.
Negative: we loved everything there was nothing that was disappointing.
Positive: Loved the location, history, decor and restaurant attached.
Negative: Room smelled damp and carpet felt damp. Would have been better off without carpeting in rooms. Was hard to find actual location. Spent sometime trying to find location, not well marked.
Positive: The location is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an old look to it but a very cool vibe.
Negative: The cleaning could be a little better. The floor in our bathroom was not cleaned nor was the sink. We knew that because my wife dropped makeup on the floor and in the sink and it was still there when we got back to the room.
Positive: The place has beautiful interior decor! The location was also perfect. Vallet and front office staff were so nice and kind!
Negative: No nearby parking. They offer vallet at least!
