This unique historical hotel comprises a total of 31 rooms. It is built in a restored, one thousand year old Byzantine monastic retreat and offers modern conveniences without distracting from the spiritual feeling of the area, which is known to have been inhabited for more than five thousand years. The hotel is built from the local volcanic stone and is carved into the rock face, making use of the caves which have been inhabited for centuries. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception, as well as a hotel safe and currency exchange.
