How to arrive
From Johannesburg/Pretoria:
- Take the N12 from Johannesburg and the N4 from Pretoria, past Witbank and Middelburg towards Belfast
- Turn onto the R540 to Dullstroom and Lydenburg
- Take the R36 to Origstad, Strijdom Tunnel and Abel Erasmus Pass onto the R527 to Hoedspruit and turn right onto the R531 to Orpen
- Turn right to the Adventura Swadini turn-off and travel about 6 km
- Just before Swadini, turn right into the Blyde River Botanical Reserve and this leads to the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve
