How to arrive
By car:
- Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 in the direction of
Somerset West
- Turn left where the sign direct you to Stellenbosch (Baden Powell Drive/
R310)
- Pass Spier
- At the traffic lights, turn right and continue on this road until the 9th street
light
- This 10th streetlight is past the industrial/commercial area of Stellenbosch,
just when you enter the countryside
- Look out for signs directing you to Franschhoek on your right
- Turn right and pass Boschendal
- At the T-junction, turn right and continue for about 15 km, until you reach
Franschhoek
- Drive through Franschhoek and until the end of town
- With the monument right in front of you, turn left
- Take the second road on your left - Akademie Street
