Updating availability and prices
The villa was originally the home of Marquis Malaspina (a rich and powerful advisor of the local ruler, Cangrande della Scala) and his heirs. It soon became a magnificent manor house surrounded by woods and fields, besides being the superb residence of the Marquisate. The Colombara Tower, which still towers over the sorrounding landscape, was a testament of the family’s powerful lineage.
Throughout out history, the Villa has seen the opulence of Malaspina Marquisate, as well as Gonzaga’s misfortunes, to then become, in the 19th century, the countryside residence of a wealthy Veronese.
Today the Villa is a beautiful 4 star hotel with 70 rooms equipped with all modern facilities and equipment.
