Positive: The Veritas is a lovely hotel, great location, clean, and comfortable. Would happily stay again once construction is complete.
Negative: We were unaware of construction that was going on with a remodeling effort and entrance was a bit inconvenient

Negative: No coffee in the room Inconsistency of service and information from the staff Exterior being renovated which is nice but notified too late to make alternate plans. Renovations made the parking structure unavailable. Luckily I didn’t need parking this time or I would’ve been very inconvenienced.

Negative: Our room is so small that the bed is set on an angle. There is no luggage rack because there is no room for one. There is only one tiny, narrow nitestand. The bathroom is absurdly small. I’d rather stay in a dorm and this property claims 4 stars?! Basic, at best.

Positive: The location was very convenient. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. I used the wifi to teach on Zoom and it all went smoothly.

Negative: This property needs updating. Wallpaper is frayed in halls. My glass nightstand was cracked. My room door had a panel that was warped and separating from the main door.

Negative: No gym - the referenced off site gym is noted as being permanently closed :/ A light breakfast or voucher to a local coffee shop or cafe would be great! The room was super small - not much walking space but well maintained. Love the shower / bathroom.

Positive: Great location, friendly staff, clean comfortable room with nice bathroom and amenities, a private balcony, and soundproofed room. Really appreciated being able to control my own room temperature . Nice comfortable seating in lobby with working fireplace. This is a very charming property and very well maintained.
Negative: The only suggestion would be to have better lighting in the room. Tea and coffee are served in the lobby 24/7 which meant going downstairs but state of the art machine with good selection and very clean and well maintained as is entire property.
