The Hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the main railway station (Stazione Centrale) and the bus terminal. Excellent connections to airports and the historical centre.

Positive: Great staff and excellent service. The Hotel Bristol is an old hotel which has been well-maintained. The rooms are small without much space. Its location across the street from Milano Centrale was great and access to the Metro, trains, buses and taxis made it a great choice for a short stay. Breakfast was available for an additional fee, but there many places to get breakfast across the street in the train station.

Negative: Our room was located next to a dance club. From 10:00pm to 5:00am we did not sleep a wink. For seven hours straight we were treated to loud thumping electric dance music pounding through our walls. We were told it just depends upon where your room is located. The staff should alert those people who are assigned rooms affected by the music .
Positive: Great location for transportation. In and out of Milan by Train and Metro access. Train station also has great food! Food court! The hotel staff were very helpful especially Enza at the breakfast room. The breakfast was also very good, great start to the day.
Negative: We got there in October and did not realize that they were already in winter mode meaning, instead of cooling they were in heat mode. We had to leave the window open, more noise from street. Luckily we had ear plugs and eye shades.
Positive: Good breakfast, good location next to the train station. Nice sized room. Has external blinds/shutters that can block out the light and the noise.
Negative: Have to go up stairs from the street to reach reception area
Positive: I stayed in both a single room (very minimal) and a twin bedded double room (much nicer). Great location for train travel next to the rail station.
Negative: No hot water kettle/coffee set up in the single room. Suggest hotel add an info sheet to let guests know they can adjust the exterior shutter/blind to darken the room. Most US guests will not be familiar with these shutters/blinds.
