Positive: It served the purpose! My kiddo graduated from K-State. My belongings spent less than 9 hours in the room. I spent way less time there.
Negative: I was hoping for a themed room (of any kind) as shown online, just for the fun of it. The room was standard. I had to show my kid how to make the shower work (pull down on the spout) and the toilet was EXTREMELY loud.
Positive: Bed was soft and the staff was cheerful and nice
Negative: The telivision in leasure area turned on but had black screen. Could not get or change any channels. Tv in bed room powered on but you had to manually input channels. Up and down channel buttons didnt work. A/C was turned on day one and was still very warm in the room the evening of second day. Room was advertised as hot tub room. Was no hot tub in the room or on the premises of the motel. No pool on premises either.
Positive: The wizard of oz room
Positive: The location to downtown Wamego. The city and everything about Wamego was adorable. I would visit this city again but I would choose different lodging.
Negative: Fridge wasn’t cleaned out, mildew on the wall in bathroom, dirty tub, dirty sink… the rooms poster in the pics on the website (Wizard the Oz themed) didn’t match either of the rooms we booked for our stay!

Negative: Rooms were very disgusting. Nothing like the pictures on the website very deceiving, the one room that my mother stayed in the toilet was completely rusty in bowl and disgusting. Couldn’t get the shower to work, the door on the outside was completely gross and disgusting never been cleaned, musty smell, leftover cigarette smell in the rooms, in our room warm showers could not get hot water. Cobwebs on the ceiling carpet was just dirty and nasty. The overall stay was completely disappointing. Website is very deceiving.
Positive: The location was great and it was pet friendly. The beds were clean and comfortable.
Negative: The room was not very clean. The floors needed vacuumed and swept. Had to was out the shower myself and the kitchen sink was filthy. It has the potential to be very cute. They need to focus on the cleaning. We stayed in the exact room two years ago and it was great. Disappointed this time.
Positive: It was quite, bed was comfortable, the suite was large, linens were clean. While the accommodations were older and not totally updated, they were well maintained and met our needs.
Negative: It could have been a bit cleaner. There were some stains on the carpet and floor needed a good sweep.
Positive: Staff is always friendly
Negative: This is not the Ritz, but it’s an amazing hotel that accommodates my dogs and the most friendly staff

Negative: This property was aweful. It was dirty. A package of hot dogs was left in the frig, beer bottle caps laying on the floor, a small blue pill and red pill found on the floor. Housekeeping obviously is unacceptable. Coffee pods but no cups. Woke up to no water. This facility is under construction but this does not mean the housekeeping should fail.
Positive: Bed was comfy
Negative: Our room was not cleaned before entering it
Positive: Had some problems with the plumbing but manager was on it . She got us a room change quickly. Housekeeping did amazing at having a clean room.
Negative: The room I booked was not available. Was told that the spa tub was broken and we were put in a different room without any notification of any kind. Was told that the room we got was the same price as the one we had booked. That was a little upsetting.
Positive: The bed was comfortable.
Negative: The heater didn't work well. It is winter and the room was cold all night. The toilet was nasty. The carpet was very old and disgusting. The glass in the window was cracked.
Positive: I can't really give a report on the simmer hotel, when we arrived we were informed that they had overbooked (even though I booked my room 3 weeks in advance) and they had to move us to a room in the Wamego Inn. The room we did receive was clean and comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot.

Positive: The locks didn't work right and the heat was off in the first room. They moved us two rooms away and it was very nice for the price.

Negative: Didn’t get to stay in the room that I booked (No a/c ?). Light outside our window was too bright, it seemed liked we were sleeping in the day hours. No blackout curtains. No plastic cups to brush our teeth with. Staff did not have the password for our wi-fi

Negative: The room I booked and confirmed ended up not being available, I received a confirmation and even the code to get in . Apparently the Wamego inn owners purchased the property and bookings were incorrect . They did accommodate us with a room across the street .
Positive: was a very good breakfast
Negative: very outdated, not much for amenities
