We are located in the heart of Munich, not for from the world-famous Theresienwiese, location of the Oktoberfest.

We know a lot about Bavarian comfort, and so the feel-good factor in our Munich hostel is particularly great. Even the Bavarian specialities are not far. Directly opposite our house you'll find the famous Augustiner Bräustuben. Here they brew what must be the best beer in the world. Prost!

But a great glass of beer and much more is also available in our own bar, including a chat with people from all over the world. In our cosy guest kitchen, you can also whip up your favourite dish as a change from Leberkäs and Weißwurst, while you wait for your laundry in our in-house washing machine. If your favourite dish happens to need that grilled flavour, just ask in the beer garden and you can pop it on our grill.

In our game room, a pool table, football table, table tennis and PlayStation awaits you - either for an international with other guests, or just a friendly match amongst friends. The cosier alternative: just put your feet up in our lobby, relax, or chat away with your friends at home at our internet terminals.

What's unique to our hostel is the relaxed international Atmosphere combined with the Bavarian lifestyle. But even the location is great. A 15-minute walk will take you to the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), and to the city centre almost as fast.

We offer accommodation in single and twin rooms, shared rooms or a dormitory. All rooms have their own bathroom with a shower and toilet, and are equipped with a TV set. In the dormitories, showers and toilets are separated. No need to bring bedding - this is included in the accommodation.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GROUPS OF 12 OR MORE:
Bookings for groups of 12 or more: cancellations made by the guest respectively on the part of the intermediary person or
organisation are free of charge up to 60 days before expected arrival. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to arrival,
the following cancellation fees apply; these fees also apply for bookings made within 60 days of expected arrival:
a) For cancellations made 59 to 30 days before expected arrival, 30 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due.
b) For cancellations made 29 to 10 days before expected arrival, 50 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due.
c) For cancellations made 9 to 1 day(s) before expected arrival, 90 per cent of the agreed-upon total price will be due.
d) Guests who either cancel on the day of their expected arrival or simply do not show up will be charged the agreed-upon
total price in full.
Above cancellation conditions also apply if the number of persons is reduced at least 10 per cent within this period of time. A
reduction of less than 10 per cent is free of charge until 1 day prior to arrival.

Booked meals can be cancelled free of charge until 8 days prior to arrival. Thereafter, a cancellation fee of 100 per cent of the
agreed-upon total price applies.

PAYMENT:
For groups of 12 or more, a deposit in the amount of 30 per cent of the total booking price is due four weeks after receipt of booking confirmation unless otherwise arranged beforehand. This does not apply for group bookings made on short notice within eight weeks of arrival; in such cases, the bill must be paid in full immediately upon receipt of booking confirmation.
Free cancellation can be made up until 1 day before the check-in day. For cancellations made after this time a cancellation fee of 100% of the entire stay will be charged. All times refer to the local time at the property. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 28-12-2012 and 31-12-2012, free cancellation can be made up until 30 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 14-01-2013 and 19-01-2013, free cancellation can be made up until 20 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 25-01-2013 and 30-01-2013, free cancellation can be made up until 20 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 20-02-2013 and 25-02-2013, free cancellation can be made up until 20 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 06-03-2013 and 09-03-2013, free cancellation can be made up until 20 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 12-03-2013 and 19-03-2013, free cancellation can be made up until 20 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 29-03-2013 and 01-04-2013, free cancellation can be made up until 20 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged. Between 21-09-2012 and 07-10-2012, free cancellation can be made up until 30 days before the check-in day. For late cancellations made after this time 100% of the entire stay is charged. For no-show, 100% of the entire stay will be charged.
You can cancel the reservation without penalty fee until 1 days before check in date
Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet. Special dietary requirements, as well as individual-specific dishes, may be prepared. Guests may additionally book either half-board or full-board packages.
If youd rather have your peace and quiet, just book a single or twin room and get all the relaxation you need. Maybe youre en route with friends, colleagues or family? If so, a shared room with up to six beds could be just the right thing. Or, if you like being surrounded by people at all times of day, a bed in one of our dorm-style rooms may be the perfect choice for you. We also have All-Female Dormitories for those women in search of a more private space.

The tastefully furnished, comfortable rooms feature an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, satellite/cable TV, a radio and Internet access. Guests will also find a kitchenette with a microwave in the stylish rooms. Ironing facilities, individual heating, a double bed and a terrace are also on offer within the rooms.

How to arrive
45 kms to the nearest airport (franz josef strauss)
The hostel is the place to go for affordable accommodation with modern comfort and a young feel, in Munich's city centre. The hostel is in the direct vicinity of the most interesting historical, cultural and architectural highlights, such as Marienplatz and the Frauenkirche (cathedral), Viktualienmarkt, Karlsplatz (?Stachus'), Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest) and the Pinakothek der Moderne.
From Franz-Josef Strauss Munich Airport take the underground line S1 (direction Ostbahnhof) or S8 (direction Nannhofen). Exit at the Hackerbrücke station. From the central station (Hauptbahnhof), take any S-Bahn line just one station to the Hackerbrücke station. Guests can also use the tram 18/19 and get out at station Holzapfelstrasse.
