Only a few meters away from the Duomo, Hotel Axial is located in the very center of Florence, in Via dei Calzaiuoli, close to all the major museums and the best shops.
Recently opened, Hotel Axial is on the first floor of a 19th century building.
During the renovation, special attention has been given to the interiors, in order to be able to offer modern and functional services keeping all the historical features of the present day, such as the but ceiling, tall windows and the oak beamed ceiling in the breakfast room.
All of the hotel's spacious, recently renovated rooms, are furnished in a warm, elegant manner and decorated in a classical style. Each room features satellite TV, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a mini fridge, direct dial telephone, safe, Wi-fi Internet access and individually controlled air conditioning and heating.
All rooms are non-smoking and some have a view of the Duomo.

How to arrive
From Florence Airport – Amerigo Vespucci
Taxi: Taxis are available outside the arrival terminal at the airport. The ride is approximately fifteen minutes and will take you directly in front of the door of the hotel. Cost of Taxis might vary depending on the time of the day and traffic congestion, but it is approximately 20 Euro.
Shuttle Bus: There is a shuttle bus service “Vola in Bus”, at the cost of 4 Euro (ticket must be purchased on board). The shuttles connect the airport to the Central Station every thirty minutes until 23:30.
Travelling by train
Hotel Axial is only 900 metres away from Florence Central Station (Santa Maria Novella or S.M.N.)
Taxi: There are several Taxis waiting at the exits of the Central Station, the ride to the Hotel Axial is quite short, and is likely to cost around 10 Euro.
On Foot: Coming out from the left hand side of the Central Station, you will find an escalator leading to an underground shopping street.
Go straight and walk all the shopping area until you reach a set of stairs in front of you.
Climb the stairs to find yourself in Via Panzani. Keep going straight, Via Panzani will become Via de' Cerretani and eventually, at around seven hundred meters ahead, you will see the Duomo and Battistero.
Walk in front of the Duomo Cathedral looking at the entry gates. On the right hand side you will see a crowded street, that is Via Calzaiuoli.
Hotel Axial is on the right hand side a few meters ahead.
By Bus: Outside the Central Station (right hand side exit) there are two lines, N.23 and N.14, that will take you in front of the Duomo, from where you can easily see Via Calzaiuoli.
The Duomo stop is the second from the Station, tickets can be bought at the newsagents, bars and on board, but in the latter case there is a surcharge on the ticket.
