Hotel Borg combines old-time elegance with modern style in the heart of Iceland's capital. Built in 1930 and restored to its original Art Deco style in 2007, the hotel is a showcase of sophistication. All 56 rooms have custom-made furniture and fittings with modern amenities.
Guests have use of two restaurants; the cafe which is extremely popular with locals and has a lively atmosphere most of the day and evening; and the main restaurant, which offers a more formal dining experience in a luxurious traditional setting.

The distance from the international airport is 45 km. The Flybus service departs the airport after every international flight arrival. The driver when asked, will stop at The hotel. Upon departing the property, the concierge will reserve Flybus seats. Also taxi service and rental cars are available, at the international airport and city center of Reykjavík.
Rooms vary in size from medium to large. Although they retain a traditional feel the rooms have been restored to the highest standard in traditional Art Deco style with beautiful solid wood floors, and furniture, fixtures and fittings of really wonderful quality. All rooms are in exceptional condition as are the characterful bathrooms.
