The hotels has achieved many awards for its' high standard of food. The cuisine would be classified as Modern British. The restaurant provide a traditional setting - one of the oldest parts of this 13th Century Coaching Inn.

This 13th Century Coaching Inn is made of Cotswold Stone with an ivy clad facade. The courtyard has a small patio area and is surrounded by cottages and smaller buiders which house some of the hotels' bedrooms.

The Bear Hotel is the perfect destination in the heart of the Cotswold countryside, alongside the magnificent Blenheim palace. We are close enough to explore the delights of the dreaming spires of Oxford and Stratford upon Avon.The hotel features our award winning two AA Rosette Restaurant and is famous for the roaring log fires in the Bar The Churchill lounge serves traditional afternoon teas with a wide choice of leaf teas and looks over the peaceful town square
